Day 1: Arrival in Cusco + Cusco City Tour
Inca Temples and Archaeological Sites

Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

In the afternoon, we will begin the Cusco City Tour, exploring the main historical attractions of the imperial city.

Our first visit will be the Cusco Cathedral, an important colonial temple that preserves valuable religious artworks and historical treasures. Then, we will visit the famous Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, considered one of the most important sacred sites of the Inca Empire, where we will admire the precision of its architecture and the extraordinary stonework created by the Incas.

We will continue to the impressive archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, known for its enormous stone blocks perfectly assembled. We will also visit other nearby Inca sites such as Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

We will finish the tour at approximately 6:30 p.m. in Cusco city.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas + Train Journey to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we will begin our tour through the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas, a region surrounded by mountains, Andean landscapes, and ancient archaeological sites.

We will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac, famous for its agricultural terraces, Inca architecture, and its importance within the ancient Qhapaq Ñan road system. We will also have the opportunity to explore its traditional artisan market, where you can find handmade products created by local artisans.

At midday, we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring a variety of Peruvian dishes.

In the afternoon, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns in the Sacred Valley. We will visit its impressive archaeological complex, which had religious, agricultural, and military functions during the Inca Empire.

Then, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), where we will spend the night before our great visit to the Inca citadel.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Tour | Visit to the Modern World Wonder

Very early in the morning, we will begin our adventure to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World and the most famous tourist destination in Peru.

We will take the tourist bus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of the citadel, where our professional guide will accompany us during the tour.

During the visit, we will explore the main sectors of Machu Picchu, including its impressive architecture, temples, agricultural terraces, and the advanced knowledge that allowed the Incas to build this masterpiece in the middle of the mountains.

The guided tour will last approximately 2 hours (depending on entrance availability and the assigned circuit).

After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch before taking the return train to Ollantaytambo. Our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.

Day 4: Maras and Moray Tour | Inca Agricultural Laboratory and Andean Salt Mines

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to two of the most impressive attractions near Cusco: Maras and Moray.

Our first stop will be Moray, an impressive archaeological site formed by circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural experimentation center. Its unique design allowed them to study different crop conditions thanks to the temperature variations between each level.

Then, we will visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a group of hundreds of salt pools built on the mountainsides, where traditional salt extraction continues today. This mineral is known as the “white gold of the Andes.”

We will enjoy beautiful rural landscapes and learn about ancestral techniques that remain active to this day.

Return to your hotel in Cusco approximately at 2:00 p.m.

Optional: You can replace this tour with a visit to the Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) for an additional cost.

Day 5: Transfer to Cusco Airport

After breakfast and according to your flight schedule, we will transfer you from your hotel to Cusco Airport.
